Stacy makes functional ceramics out of her home studio in Winnipeg. Each piece is thrown, trimmed, glazed, and fired by hand — no two are exactly alike, and the wonky bits are kept on purpose.

She came to clay the long way around — through years of drawing, painting, and a brief detour into woodworking that convinced her the only medium she’ll ever love is the one that fires.

The studio is small. The kiln is temperamental. The dog sleeps under the wheel.
